Opening Screen

Q. How do I play the game..?

A. Tap "Help", located on the opening screen menu, for hints on how to play. You'll find more help or the help ? throughout the app.

Q. How do I access app Settings..?

A. "Settings" can be accessed either from the opening screen menu or in-game controls.

Q. How do I turn off the game music or sound effects..?

A. Game music and sound effects can be turned off using the "Music on" and "Sound effects on" options in Settings (General Settings).

Q. How do I hide the preview of puzzles in the lower gallery..?

A. The "Keep pictures hidden" option in Settings (General Settings) prevents previews showing in the lower gallery.

Q. How do I change the way the top gallery of theme packs is displayed..?

A. The sort order of the gallery can be set to alphabetic or newest first using the "Sort gallery alphabetically" option in Settings (General Settings).

Q. How do I turn off ads..?

A. Ads can be removed for a small fee by tapping "Remove Ads", located on the opening screen menu. Purchasing the Pro Upgrade Theme Pack will also remove ads from the app.

Q. How can I rate the app..?

A. The success of our apps depends on feedback and ratings. You can visit the apps page on your app store directly or access it via a link on our Support page. This can be accessed via "Support and FAQ", located on the opening screen menu. Please provide a rating or review.

Game Play

Q. How do I access app Settings..?

A. "Settings" can be accessed either from the opening screen menu or in-game controls.

Q. How do I stop/enable pieces flashing when they lock together..?

A. The "Flash piece effect" option in Settings (Game Settings) allows you to control this.

Q. Does the app have a left handed mode..?

A. The Android version of the app can be switched between left and right handed modes using the "Right handed" option in Settings (Game Settings).

Q. Can I start to play a game without the edge pieces only displayed..?

A. The "Edge pieces selected" option in Settings (Game Settings) allows you to control whether these are selected or not at puzzle startup.

Q. Does the app support pinch-to-zoom..?

A. The app supports pinch-to-zoom for larger board sizes, allowing you to zoom in on parts of the puzzle. Pinch-to-zoom can be disabled using the "Enable pinch-to-zoom" option in Settings (Game Settings).

Q. Why do the puzzle pieces in the picker change when I use pinch-to-zoom and move the board around..?

A. As the board is moved, the picker is filtered to show only the pieces that can be placed on the visible part of the board. As the board is dragged around, the picker is updated as needed. This can be disabled using the "Auto filter picker list" option in Settings (Game Settings).

Q. How do I change the way the app looks..?

A. The app comes with a number of themes, tap "Look & Feel" located on the in-game menu to view and change these across the app.

Q. What does Rotation on the piece selector screen mean..?

A. If enabled, pieces will be put onto the picker in a random rotated state. After they have been dragged onto the board they can be rotated by a single tap. Pieces that are not rotated correctly will not lock together or into place, making for a more challenging puzzle.

Shop

Q. How do I access the Shop..?

A. The Shop can be accessed on the opening screen either from the menu or by tapping the shopping cart.

Q. What is My Library and how do I access it..?

A. My Library is a special part of our shop that shows what theme packs you own. It can be accessed on the opening screen either from the menu or by tapping the "My Library" pack at the far right of the top gallery.

Q. How do I get more jigsaws..?

A. Additional theme packs can be downloaded from the Shop.

Q. How do I archive a theme pack..?

A. From My Library, tap the pack you want to archive. Tap the ARCHIVE button and the pack will be removed from your device, saving space and tidying your top gallery. You can restore this at any time without cost.

Q. How do I restore a theme pack..?

A. From My Library, tap the pack you want to restore. Note that packs not on your device will show transparent in My Library. Tap the RESTORE button and the pack will be downloaded to your device without cost.

Q. I've got an idea for a new theme pack, how do I let you know..?

A. New theme packs are added weekly but if you have an idea for something that you don't see, let us know here.

Common Problems

Q. Why won't my pieces lock together..?

A. It is likely you have Rotation enabled. When selecting the piece shape and number of pieces there is an option to enable/disable piece rotation. If enabled, pieces will be put onto the picker in a random rotated state. After they have been dragged onto the board they can be rotated by a single tap. Pieces that are not rotated correctly will not lock together or into place, making for a more challenging puzzle. Exit the puzzle and restart it, tapping Rotation again to turn it off.

Q. I seem to be missing some pieces and can't finish the jigsaw..?

A. It is likely that the pieces are either underneath others or on the edge of the screen. Tapping "Clear" on the in-game menu moves any single, unattached and unlocked pieces back to the picker.

Q. I'm missing a theme pack from My Library

Q. I've purchased a Mega Pack but can't find my packs

A. Mega Packs contain lots of component packs. We do not download all of these when you make a purchase but add the component packs to My Library where they will show in an archive state. To download a pack when you are ready to play it, go to My Library, tap on the pack and then on RESTORE.
